This dual role saw me tasked with overseeing general accounting operations (controlling and verifying financial transactions for our Offshore & Marine accounts), as well as designing complex travel itineraries catering to both FIT & GIT travel requirements. Some of my many roles included: Gaining an in-depth understanding of a client and their needs, and then researching the aptest destinations and travel options to suit them; Conducting thorough research on destinations, travel prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews, etc.; Actively selling both package, and dynamically packaged holidays, as well as upselling products like car rentals and travel insurance; Appropriately responding to, and resolving customers inquiries, as well as always ensuring to exceed their expectations; Anticipating and assisting with any potential challenges that could arise for the client; Counseling clients on their various travel choices, and explaining the differences between available options; Verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling accounts payable and receivable; Producing error-free accounting reports and presenting their results;  Analyzing financial information, and summarizing financial status;  Spotting errors and suggesting ways to improve efficiency and spending;
