I strive to provide timely and accurate communication, both up and down, in an effort to increase efficiency and operational effectiveness in the organization.Personality is an undervalued trait in people. I think having a “good time” is not counter-productive to good work. Enjoying what you do makes you want to continue doing it. Having a good laugh with co-workers, at the appropriate times of course, aides in team building and makes that organization better. Getting outside my comfort area is something I have done frequently. One of my favorite sayings is, "if you never get outside the box you'll always only see cardboard". A few of the course the team developed were: The Defense Property Accountability System training, SABRE Viz training, and Decision Support Tool training. I also assisted the organization in its ability to provide training to nearly 10,000 individuals over a 17-month period. I led the effort in modernizing some of the tools used within the organization to include creating update forms. This allowed for increased situational understanding across the organization and better clarity in requirements for those requesting support. Some of the updated forms I created were: update lesson plans that allowed for increased accuracy of approval status; updated training requests forms that gave better clarity to organizations requesting training; updated needs assessment form that improved the organizations ability to provide support to organizations requesting training development support.During my time as the Project Manager, a few of the tools I used were; Microsoft Teams, Confluence, SharePoint, Blackboard LMS, Remedy Support, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Pro. -
