At the front edge of the interactive high-tech in the nineties, worked as a project manager on several breaktrough CD-i projects and some VCD's (forerunner of the DVD format). CD-interactive from Philips and Sony was in those pre-internet days more then a big promise. Lots of products found its way into the consumer market and -less known- even more into the B2B market. Its integration of graphics, sound, video and software still stands as a standard of media-integrations and interactivity even internet -in essence- still has not yet come close to. You could call CD-i the real forerunner of interactive Television (not just pause and playback).Valkieser Multi Media was preferred partner of Philips and competitor of companies like Lost Boys (now LBi) and was well respected worldwide. The company was run by Erik Spin and later by Brian Hirman (now Goud Uberconnected and eVentures Africa Fund). The Valkieser Group became in 2001 United Broadcast Facilities (United4All.nl).

Valkieser Computer Image was one of the first companies in the Netherlands that started with 3D animations mostly for the dutch broadcast market. Being part of an independant facilities group its integration of graphics and 3d with hi-end video editing and post-production delivered many breakthrough graphic motion design products.Being part of that revolution was an honor and a thrill. My work for many dutch broadcast companies (leaders, bumpers, trailers, graphics, animations) were aired on TV on an almost daily basis during a period of 7 years.Other highlights: daily weather animations for Europa TV (first experimental TV satellite of the EBU), news graphics for the first morning show ever in the Netherlands (Veronica) and news and weather graphics for the first commercial company in Holland (RTL4) during a year.Valkieser group was a private held company in the field of audiovisual media support and one of the main players in the dutch broadcast industry.

Worked with groups of young people against prejudice and racism in several projects.
