I worked for Paul G Pagano a Professional Land Surveyor licensed by the State of New York. As junior crew chief, I prepared field notes for several residential surveys, Elevation Certificates and assisted in Construction Stakeouts all over the Western New York Area. A typical day entailed drive time to the job, making general observations to assess safety and preparation of a plan for data collection. Then, geometric and trigonometric concepts would be applied to arbitrary and known reference points via the use of state of the art instruments for the collection of field data. With the use of traditional tools (plumb bob, steel tape, etc.) and new technology (total station and data collector), we were able to record extremely accurate measurements. In the field, I would sometimes assume the role of the instrument ('gun") operator where I was in charge of turning and focusing the total station instrument that collects the data points used to generate maps. After the field work was completed, the office portion of the project began where I would download the data collected to the computer and use Carlson Survey Pro software to draft a survey map according to the data collected. My maps were then checked and revised by a licensed surveyor before they were printed, sealed and sent out to the requesting client.The most noteworthy project I had the pleasure to have been a part of was the Wethersfield, NY Windmill Project.

I performed general carpentry and woodwork tasks including restoring of old window frames and sashes, fabricated and assembled window & door frames, drove work trucks to job sites, and was a part of some general contracting work.

Catered part-time for wedding receptions, awards banquets, and family & class reunions.

Officiate soccer matches for the Buffalo & Western New York Junior Soccer League for ages U10 - U19 using systems of one man officiating to 3-man systems. Licensed as a Grade 8 referee during that time.

Started as entry-level maintenance position, then moved into the pro shop as a cashier where I managed the sales of mostly soccer specific equipment.
