“What do you do?”It’s a question I get asked a lot, and I guess the best answer I can give is: whatever it takes.Growing up as a musical theatre performer embedded in me the need to create emotional experiences for people. So every project I approach starts with the feel, how do I want my users/audience to feel after they’ve visited my website/watched my show/interacted with my brand. Because I start with possibilities, and not issues, sometimes my dreams can be a little bigger than my technical knowledge. What sets me apart is my willingness and ability to learn, and learn quick. Whatever the project needs, I’ll figure it out.Whether it’s programming lights using a custom audio reactive Ableton Max for Live script, or creating 3D effects in browser using vanilla CSS, etc. I use my breadth of knowledge in the computer and arts world to find exactly the skill/person/tool I need to elicit exactly the desired feeling. And because I can bounce around, I find new and exciting ways to combine tools where other more specialized designers fall flat.
