Global Planner - Acetyls• Managed global supply chain team including three direct line regional planners - responsible for 13 production facilities that produce 5,200 kilotons per year of products and generate $4.3 billion annual revenue. • Incorporated acquired company, Acetex, into Celanese supply chain taking advantage of synergies realizing $2 million of inventory reduction and $5.8 million per year of distribution costs.• Created process map to identify non-value added work to streamline the Sales and Operations Planning process and reduced preparation time from 30 days to 15 days.Global Planner - Polyols• Applied 6-sigma process to reduce Pentaerythritol inventory by 71% or $2.4 million without affecting on time deliveries and to eliminate 20 railcars from acetaldehyde fleet saving $163k in railcar costs and $1.6 million in inventory investment.• Utilized Optiant software to optimize Pentaerythritol supply chain reducing active SKU’s from 86 to 28 and supply points from 15 to 4 while maintaining customer service levels.

• Designed and launched a new forecasting structure supporting 290M pounds of business that improved forecast accuracy leading to a worldwide inventory reduction of 18M pounds, reducing working capital by $15 million in 2003.• As the commercial representative on the business team I work closely with the 14 member world wide sales force to accurately reflect the current market conditions to the business.
