Fire and life safety plan reviewInspections

As a senior technical staff member, I responded to questions reguarding the intent and application of the ICC Codes and legacy codes. As a regional manager for fire service activities, I was a liaison to the fire service providing informaiton on the ICC to the fire service. In both postions I developed and provided training materials, made presentaitons on the International Fire Code and Fire and Life Safety aspects of the International Building Code and other related ICC codes and processes. Secretariat to the IFC 2000-2003

Provided information on the Uniform Fire Code and Fire and Life Safety aspects of the Uniform Building Code. Developed and taught seminars on the UFC and fire and life safety aspects of the UBC. Acted as executive director of the International Fire Code Institute from 2000 until it transitioned into the ICC in 2003.

Worked in fire suppression and fire prevention assignments for 3 fire departments over 27 years before leaving the fire service and working as a private fire andlife safety consultant and ICBO and ICC staff member
