Director, Practitioners Leadership Institute
Oversight of program development, strategic planning, partnership development, funder management, program refinement and evaluation, and day-to-day departmental operations for the Practitioners Leadership Institute (PLI). PLI is comprised of four programs including the, PLI Academy, PLI Community of Practice, PLI Training & Education Initiatives and the PLI Summit.The mission of PLI is to provide practitioners, policymakers, philanthropists and other keystakeholders with experiences, skills, and knowledge to enhance and sustain workwithin one or more of the following fields: Responsible Fatherhood, Family Strengthening,Workforce Development, and/or Boys and Men of Color. PLI’s mission is carried out through four strategic avenues:a. PLI Academy: Eight month non-traditional leadership program designed for 10human service practitioners, who have served at least five years uplifting low-incomefathers and families within the fields of Responsible Fatherhood, WorkforceDevelopment, Family Strengthening and/or Boys and Men of Color.b. PLI National Summit: Hosted annually in March, this 1½-day intensive educationalexperience brings together no more than 100 stakeholders to network, learn andshare.c.
