Clinician
CurrentClinician working in service of youth ages 3-18 and families involved with the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families. Responsibilities include:- Provision of in-home individual and family therapy utilizing motivational interviewing, CBT, DBT, Validate/Challenge/Request, genograms, internal family systems, and other modalities, all through a trauma-informed, culturally competent lens- Treatment planning and case conceptualization- Clinical and comprehensive assessment- Clinical intervention creation and implementation (worksheets, activities, logs, schedules, etc.)- Collaboration with collaterals, including primary care, psychiatry, outpatient therapy, Department of Children and Families, and other social service providers- Clinical and social group co-facilitation- Cross-cultural mediation- Case management services, such as referrals to community resources, budgeting, and systems navigation assistance- Working with families struggling with domestic violence, substance use, severe emotional and behavioral disturbances, autistic children, chronically ill individuals, and families facing poverty and homelessness, among other issues
