A very demanding role which includes: Motivating the team to remain sales focused and target driven. Adjusting channel strategy, studio design, product presentation and presenters attitudes according to customer target groups and demand. Identifying and developing new sales techniques or approaches for implementation. Differentiating own channel approach to other bid shopping TV channels. Ensuring roles and responsibilities are clear within the channel and between the sub-departments. Considering the practical issues related to implementing different solutions. Using sales data and financial information to monitor channel performance and guide decisions. Steady improvement of the sales process, go to market approach, related interfaces and systems for the channel. Working in partnership with the other Heads of Channel to ensure optimum sales. Identifying development areas of channel and team and instigating action plans to tackle them. Nurturing talent within the team and acquiring new talent. Managed and successfully awarded a Guinness World Record for a 25-hour sales marathon - peaking customer interaction and social media activity.

In 2005, I joined the award winning team at Sit-up Channels (now Bid Shopping) and began presenting five days a week on Bid tv, a fast, fun and interactive shopping channel. As a full time presenter, offering more than 17 hours of live television each week, I have generated more than 3,000 hours of live tv and sold thousands of products. It's a demanding role which requires plenty of self-confidence, interpersonal skills, the ability to keep presenting while hearing instructions through an earpiece, improvisation skills, the ability to work calmly under stress and in most cases, some knowledge of the products being sold, through personal research and the creation of a sales presentation.

I was invited to join the “QE2” for an opportunity to examine my amiability factor with Cunard passengers. By bringing contemporary activities, events and entertainment to the existing traditional formats onboard, I was able to generate the highest scores ever enjoyed by the entertainment dept, which led to my appointment aboard the Queen Mary 2, the largest cruising vessel in the world, for her inaugural year at sea. I was responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing daily programmes, activities and evening entertainment in alliance with all other departments whilst managing the 150 strong Entertainment team, with three department-heads. Alongside the Captain, I enjoyed the highest public profile onboard by presenting game shows, celebrity interviews and participating in the evening shows. I retired from the cruise ship industry to get married and develop a new career on land.

Whilst working aboard the Seawing I was responsible for developing and implementing the daily programs, activities, evening entertainment and shore excursions. I was Master of Ceremonies, game show host and entertainer and the ship gained the highest scores across the fleet for three successive seasons.

Whilst working for this Greek cruise line I was responsible for the development and implementation of the daily programs, activities, and entertainment. The cruises lasted up to 60 days in length, including a circumnavigation of South America which included a 1,000 mile journey down the Amazon aboard the celebrated Stella Solaris.

I was invited to work for Renaissance during the development of the new mid-size fleet of "R" vessels. I was responsible for developing and implementing the daily programs, activities, evening entertainment and shore excursions which would help to define the image of the new fleet. Additionally, I hosted the entertainment and performed in the production shows.

I began my time with this media giant as a Script Supervisor, managing all editorials of the script for the cartoon series of 101 Dalmatians. At the conclusion of this contract I was invited to join the Production Team on two further projects and was responsible for the organisation, supervision and distribution of scripts, models and soundtracks, auditions, contracts and transportation and post production.

I joined this cruise line at the inauguration of it's operation out of Aruba in the deep Caribbean. I was responsible for the development and implementation of the daily programs, activities, evening entertainment, shopping program and shore excursions. Additionally, I was Master of Ceremonies, participated in the daytime and evening entertainment.

I began my seagoing career with this cruise line and after a few months was invited to become the Assistant Cruise Director, which provided a 2-year apprenticeship. As the worlds youngest Cruise Director I was responsible for the development and implementation of the daily programs, activities, evening entertainment, shopping program and shore excursions. I worked aboard a variety of vessels which required multi-language skills and services.
