As a graduate of Johnson & Wales University with a Bachelor of Science in Sport, Entertainment, and Event Management, I am passionate about building a career in the entertainment and special events industry, focusing on creating memorable occasions that enhance the guest experience. I am currently pursuing an MBA at Johnson & Wales University, expected to graduate in 2025, which further enriches my expertise in this field.Over the years, I have had the honor of shadowing, learning from, and working with incredible people across various industries. This exposure has been invaluable, thanks to the strong network I have built.My passion for the entertainment industry was ignited by watching my mother work in the field from a young age. This early exposure instilled in me a dedication to hard work and have ambition. Through these experiences, I have met amazing mentors and industry professionals who have provided opportunities to intern, shadow, and actively contribute to their teams, helping to build their events and brands. These internships have been pivotal in advancing my career, allowing me to make lifelong connections and acquire valuable skills for future roles.Working with exceptional teams has equipped me with knowledge in communications through Microsoft Office, Adobe editing, social media marketing, and relationship management via public relations. I pride myself in all the leadership roles and responsibilities I’ve had the chance to be given through organizations I’m affiliated with and the internship I have had with companies like Disney, Live Nation and Horizon School of Music.In my current role as Special Event Manager at Johnson & Wales University, I oversee the planning and execution of a wide range of events, from intimate campus gatherings to large-scale conferences and NCAA tournaments. This role has allowed me to apply and expand my skills, ensuring each event is a memorable experience for attendees.I am deeply grateful to everyone in my network who has inspired and impacted my career journey.
