Maintaining collaboration with several team members to resolve time-sensitive issues while demonstrating safety as a core value of the company. Evaluate safety technology on tractors is functioning properly; coordinate repairs and/or replacements as needed.Training & DevelopmentServe as a project resource for the Safety Technology team on projects related to learning and development. Supported recruiting teams by hiring qualified company drivers to fill in openings within J.B. Hunt. Primary job functions are to engage with current applicants that are in the final stages of the hiring process. Assisting in the process of ordering DOT & Non-DOT drug screenings, Verification Release Forms, Motor Vehicle Reports, & Drug and Alcohol Clearing House. While also assisting the recruiting managers and recruiter with reviews, questions, and follow-ups. Maintaining collaboration with several team members to resolve time-sensitive issues. Responsible for covering the workload of a Driver Recruiter.

Engaged with driver leads through inbound and outbound calls sourced by our internal advertising teams while managing leads from computer databases such as phone calls, e-mails, chat, and SMS. Maintain contact and track leads, applicants, and candidates for current and future opportunities while also assisting Onboarding and Background Verifications team with gathering necessary documents from the driver to expedite the hiring process; address other issues/problems within the process. Pre-qualify applicants based on minimum hiring requirements of J.B. Hunt and DOT; guide applicants through the pre-qualification and application process while also building and maintaining relationships with potential candidates and confirm level of interest throughout the hiring process.
