Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

-Pro-actively participated in recruiting efforts across university campuses, networking websites, and internal referrals. -Met with leaders and professors on 10 different campuses to create and maintain strong campus relationships. -Reviewed resumes and cover letters on a daily basis. -Conducted over 400 initial interviews with college students and hired 20+ of them to participate in our internship. -Collaborated with collegues to ensure success and contentment of current interns as they onboard and prepare to begin the internship program. -Recognized a need for mental health awareness in the workplace. Attended a webinar and presented to the D&I council regarding the importance of mental health in the workplace. Ultimately, the council added a mental health affinity due to these efforts. -Built purposeful and intentional relationships with the 60 current interns and support their mental well-being throughout the program.-Utilized assessments such as Culture Index Survey and Harrison Assessment to help college students better understand themselves.

It's Hard was a passion project that I started in my senior year of college. It evolved and changed in many ways over the course of 4 years. I learned valuable interviewing and communication skills through my 100+ interviews. I learned hard skills in audio production, social media curation and management, branding, business strategy and development, and time management. When you put your heart and soul into a project, it is hard to let it go, however I know that it is best if I step away from It's Hard to focus on my career and other passions. For three summers, I worked as a counselor and co-horse director at Hidden Pines Ranch. At Hidden Pines Ranch, we aim to teach kids skills for life by creating an inviting, fun, exciting, and educational environment. As a counselor I was able to make connections with the kids and teach them through action and communication. As a co-horse director, I taught kids the basic skills of riding a horse and developed their skills throughout the 8 week program. These experiences have taught me how to be a leader and how to effectively communicate with people of all different ages. I have learned how to think on my feet, be creative, stay calm in stressful situations, and be a role model and leader to my campers.

I had the opportunity to do an 8 week marketing internship with Ergodyne. Through the course of the internship I was able to work directly with the art director, marketing director, and social media director. I completed several projects for them throughout the internship such as: -Titling, filing, and organizing marketing material-Engaging with followers on social media-Strategizing social media postings -Reaching out to potential "influencers" who would promote the products on their social media pages-Sitting in on marketing meetings -Sitting in on product development meetings to learn about the product and how it is designed and made-Meeting directly with product developers to learn about the process behind each productThis internship was a great opportunity for both marketing and product development.
