I work with insights, marketing, and strategy teams to bring business communications to life. Whether the audience is internal employees or external stakeholders, I use design to help the right messages come through loud and clear and ensure your story resonates on a human level.

I play a hybrid role, that blends strategy and design to help businesses take action on what they know about their customers and brand to drive greater collective impact. I utilize me design skill set to bring a designer's curiosity and knack for organizing information to all project touchpoints.Project management: I am responsible for leading the project team, acting as the main client contact, and executing client work that involves synthesizing customer data to tell the right story and lead to desired actions (mediums can be executive presentations, playbooks, topic deep-dive reports, etc.). Business development: I am one of two ‘Activation SMEs’ responsible for building the company’s Activation capability - educate project staff, manage account and revenue goals, and support Account Strategists.In addition to my role responsibilities, I love supporting career development efforts and mentoring others. I often mentor new employees to help with their on-boarding process. Plus, I aided in the internal company initiative to create and deploy a new vision for the organization's coaching conversation process.

During my time as a communication designer, I pushed the boundaries of traditional graphic design to act as visual problem solver and storyteller of consumer data. I worked with teams of researchers, data analysts, and strategists to uncover insights hidden in consumer data, to ultimately inspire better business decisions. I utilized design to bring these insights to life, connect the dots for the audience, and most importantly to evoke empathy for the humans behind the numbers.In this role, I was a part of a collaborative creative team focused on bringing design and design thinking to the forefront of solving business challenges. I created a mix of custom deliverables unique to each client’s need, which included: Executive Presentations, Reports, Infographics, Journey Maps, Communication Materials (e.g., change management initiative assets and in-person/virtual workshop materials), Digital Microsites, Immersive Spaces (physical spaces and AR), and more).I worked across a wide range of industries, including CPG, retail, food service, healthcare, financial, hospitality, and entertainment.In addition to my design role, I took on many other responsibilities and internal initiatives. For instance, I managed the project resourcing for the design team of eleven—staffing projects daily—and helped spearhead the creation of the updated design request process. I looked for new ways to push design forward in the organization and got involved in various company initiatives.

Designed various promotional materials to increase student participation at professional events throughout the year, as well as created the 2017 branded materials for the annual career fair specific to the Communication Arts & Sciences College.

Worked in a fast-paced agency environment, executing multiple projects at all times, ranging from print to digital designs for various client advertising campaigns. Contributed to campaign brainstorms and shadowed on photo/video shoots. Arranged the creative team’s weekly status updates for report-out.

Created content and design for various print and digital projects targeted towards MSU college students (e.g., on-campus financial educational posters/materials, print mailers, newspaper advertisements).Organized end-to-end social media contests - collaborative concepting, created content, tracked submissions, arranged giveaways.

Designed print and digital materials distributed to thousands of prospective MSU students, including informational materials, event items, social media graphics, etc. Often referred to as "Lightning McQueen" for always getting things done before deadlines :)

Worked under the Corporate Controller to perform financial analysis and accounting functions, primarily leveraging excel.Managed the annual intern project - coordinated the timeline, kept the team of eight interns on track, and delegated responsibilities.
