I am the Adult Services Librarian at the University Branch library. I enjoy planning programs, teaching classes, managing the adult collection, and doing reference and readers' advisory work at the Information Desk. I am an Intellectual Freedom trainer for new staff, and I serve on the editorial board for the library's blog, Shelf Talk, http://shelftalk.spl.org/.

I spent most of my 15 Hennepin County years at the Southdale Resource Library, a large, very busy regional library. I worked in the Fiction department for 6 years, managing the adult fiction collection and teaching classes. Then I worked in the Information Services department for 6 years, again teaching classes and working at the busy reference desk. In both positions, readers' advisory services were my "specialty" and I coordinated systemwide staff training in RA services.
