An experienced Speech Language Pathologist with a demonstrated history of working in hospitals, acute rehabilitation, and skilled nursing on multidisciplinary teams. Skill areas include Dysphagia, Dysarthria, Aphasia, Cognitive-Linguistics, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, and diagnosis areas spanning from Pulmonary, Cardiac, Movement Disorders, ENT, Neurological Injuries and beyond. ASHA certification with M.S. in Speech and Language Pathology from the Northeastern University, and currently residing in the Greater Denver Colorado area working in Acute Rehabilitation with additional pursuits outside of this degree. I'm multi-passionate about helping people - so when I found myself still craving more impact outside of my degree focus, I decided to choose AND not OR. This concept is much more common following the year of 2020 with job insecurity, and eye-opening experiences that remind us to live during the best years of our lives, not just after retirement. During my 6 long years of higher education, I had neglected to really address some concerning health symptoms I began experiencing, and by the time I graduated it was very clear that my health needed my attention. So, without skipping a beat, I dove back into research but now for my personal benefit, and not as an assignment to be graded. My research led me to an elite holistic health and wellness company - and not only was it an integral part of my healing, I also fell in love with the missions, values, and products - so I decided to partner with them to build a business alongside my career. Through this unexpected addition, I've committed to personal growth, mindset work, and becoming a student of life and amazingly the person I've become in the process has had a positive impact in every area of my life.
