Co-produced a VBA automated sensitivity analysis tool used to manage credit risk.*Financial audit of a Level 3 Asset Valuation discounted cash flow (DCF) model.Key Accomplishment:Discovered material misstatements on two balance sheet line items requiring $1.4B total restatement per year for each of the prior two years, by collaborating with the client and closely examining their DCF model assumptions and source data, during a two-month financial audit. These discoveries and associated recommendations will help the client improve their internal controls going forward to prevent future financial misstatements.

Partnered with Shell's commodity and financial traders entering into purchase agreements and OTC contracts (derivatives - forwards/swaps) by underwriting unsecured credit lines for the counterparties. These counterparties spanned all sectors for gas and power purchases (i.e. healthcare, technology, financial, consumer goods, utilities, industrials, telecommunication, agriculture, etc.). Generalist role.Performed fundamental analysis/financial statement analysis -- analyzing company's quantitative and qualitative financial metrics to propose appropriate credit limits and related contractual terms (i.e. parent guarantee requirements, covenants, deal tenors, cross-defaults) for ISDA, EEI, and NAESB Master Agreements. Used analysis to quantify risks [Probability of Default (PD) and Loss Given Default (LGD)], and allow the business to take calculated risks within the trading portfolio. Efforts assisted with business development by helping trade counterparties preserve working capital -- covering AR balances plus forecasted mark-to-market (MTM) from projected price swings -- encouraging new business, larger deals, and overall portfolio growth.
