Scholastic Book Fairs partners with schools to host in-school reading events that feature books from dozens of publishers and inspire students to become lifelong readers. Book Fairs generate funds for educational resources for schools, who receive a portion of sales from every Book Fair they host. My current territory includes the Greater Rochester. My primary responsibility is to not only support my customers, but the Upstate NY Reps as well. I make a difference every day working with schools to make sure students have access to books, giving them the power to choose what they want to read. This leads schools to develop an Annual Independent Reading Plan and Family Engagement Events while focusing on literacy. Balancing external and internal customers, I supported Scholastic Reps mentoring, training and critiquing meetings and presentations. As part of the Webinar and Training Team, developed and implemented in person and online training for customers across the country. Other responsibilities include conducting 10-12 workshops and 8 - 10 online webinars each year facilitating brainstorming sessions, share research based programs that Scholastic provides, as well as help make Reading and Family engagment fun and entertaining.

• Worked closely with account teams to accurately understand customers issues to develop effective sales training programs• Researched, developed and conducted training for inbound and outbound telemarketing sales team of over 50 Representatives including; technical product training on IBM Lotus Notes, MS Office, telephone sales technique, specific script/computer utilization. Contracted by IBM to train their in-house sales representatives• Collaborated with Sales Manager to create monthly motivational programs that focused on increased productivity and sales• Monitored live customer service phone conversations, developed constructive feedback and implemented training support sessions to improve customer service and phone technique • Responsible for overall program quality to meet agency and client performance standards
