I am a dedicated and resourceful marine resource management consultant who thrives working at the nexus of science, management and policy. I have been an environmental program manager, coral reef ecologist, policy advisor, marine protected area manager, teacher, sea turtle wrangler and swim coach. Project experience includes national and regional ocean policy, developing and implementing a territorial-scope coral reef conservation initiative, marine resource governance, small island issues, coral reef ecosystem monitoring, endangered species, outreach education and consensus building. I believe in science-driven, strategic and culturally appropriate marine resource policy, planning and management to support the sustainability of our oceans and the communities that depend upon them.
