Operations Quality Team performs claim audits, responds to escalated inquiries, handles member and provider appeals, responds to Department of Insurance and BBB complaints, and ensure Legal inquiries and subrogation cases are handled appropriately. Developed the insights framework to ensure defects and trends found in data from audits, appeals, escalated cases, and complaints are analyzed as appropriate. Partner with Claims and Customer Services to review monthly performance metrics and discuss methods to reduce defects and increase quality.

Manage Business Risk Analysts responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risk within Enterprise Operations, Information Technology, and Infrastructure Services. Operational risks areas include: Internal Audit findings, SOX compliance, Fraud, Litigation, Legal, Regulatory matters, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Vendor Management. Proactively monitor compliance and regulatory matters to help management ensure the work processes are in compliance with appropriate local, state, and federal regulations.

Managed IT Quality Control Analysts to ensure timely and seamless implementation of the change portfolio. Created test plans and cases that traced back to and covered the business requirements. Completed the appropriate level of testing as agreed to for each software change by the scheduled due date, ensured team was efficient in the day to day test execution, and implemented software changes to production without the need for subsequent defect correction.

Enabled the corporate initiatives/business segments’ financial/service level goals by developing and implementing an improvement portfolio that supported corporate prioritization. Aligned IT resources to prioritized projects and directed a team of 19 Business Systems & Testing Analysts to ensure timely and seamless implementation of the change portfolio. Unit provided support for 12 business segments.
