I remember one of his mechanics telling me that he could tell Alan would be a really good supervisor to work for. He lived up to the high expectations and exceeded them. I saw him execute the soft skills necessary to work with all people at different levels with dexterity and expand his hard skills to get the job done. It was a pleasure to work with him and I am sorry to see him move on because my department and his often needed to work side by side to execute the projects efficiently.
