For as long as I can remember, connection between mind and body has been a prominent interest in my life. I started dancing when I was four years old and continued on until I received hip surgeries in my junior year of highschool. After I ended my dance career, I picked up yoga classes until I decided to learn how to be an instructor. I have loved learning how to instruct and teach a class, and I have had over two years of experience with my own classes. Gaining a yoga following was difficult, and there were many times that no one showed up to my class. It wasn't until over a year later that I finally gained a consistent yogi following. This journey has made me appreciate the different levels emotionally and physically that humans can be on. I am motivated to continue teaching and practicing yoga because I love connecting with others, I love moving my body, and I love pushing myself to different limits. This instructing path also lead me back to dance; for over a year now I have been a dance teacher to young children. This choice has allowed me to learn how to understand, teach, and love young dancers. Every day teaching yoga and dance I learn something new. I try something, I fail or succeed, I learn, I apply, and I try to observe others on how to be better. This is one of my strengths as an instructor; the craving of knowledge. My passion is being able to teach physical education to all different types of people in order to include, connect, and understand them.
