I am a chartered accountant having cleared all the levels in the first attempt alongside my graduation in BCOM. I have attained experience in statutory audit, direct tax and indirect tax departments spanning the articleship period, thereby gaining exposure in all round compliance and analysis to enable in honing my skills towards client servicing. Post qualification, I have been associated with Price Waterhouse and Co LLP in the field of Transaction Advisory (Deals) - Merger and Acquisition Tax wherein I have been exposed to different assignments capturing variety of nuances which requires us to navigate through the intricacies of Income tax, FEMA, SEBI, Companies Act and other regulations as maybe applicable. I have been able to get exposure in assignments dealing with restructuring to help clients devise tax efficient and commercially lucrative models by suggesting them proposed alternatives with detailed implications. I have worked on conducting due diligence, assisting in end to end conceptualisation and in closing deals by reviewing transaction documents, carrying out extensive research and addressing client queries by delving into income tax and other regulations, devising various strategies for cash repatriation, analysing DTAAs , analysing various options for consolidation of two NBFC entities in the best efficiently possible manner, preparation of various documents for implementation of merger, etc. I have a keen inclination towards finance and analysis and I look forward to leverage my skills and knowledge that I have imbibed so far in my upcoming professional trajectory in the Finance Industry and to upskill myself, stay abreast with all the developments and changes taking place and deliver the best in everything that I am offered.
