General tasks:- Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization objectives and guidelines.- Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in a effective and timely manner, set priorities and meet deadlines.- Multidisciplinary interaction within the company in each project such as piping, management and mechanical departments.- Master thesis carried out in parallel related with an active project.- Attend to internal and external meetings.Specific tasks:- Acquire the knowledge necessary to understand the process given in the wide variety of projects. - Mark and review P&ID's.- Aspen HYSYS and Aspen Plus software's used for physical data and process simulation. - Fluid dynamic simulation software used to model incompressible and compressible flow in pipe networks with hydraulic analysis.- Pressure safety and relief valves design and sizing for the given scenarios.- Deliver technical data sheet such as line, equipment and instrumentation lists, pump reports and safety valve data sheets.

General tasks:- Generate, calculate and correlate data to assist higher level engineers in performing required engineering functions.- Attend to internal and external meetings (auditings)Specific tasks:- ISO 50001 follow-up to better energy use and efficiency.- Energetic evaluation of all the plant equipments consumptions such as gas, thermal oil, steam and electricity production in case of the cogeneration plant (useful heat).- Maintain awareness of cost impact related to energy consumption.- Electricity scheme realization of three plants showing the real consumption vs the theoretical one based on correlations of each area/equipment to visualize the affected parameters.- Participate on the Sustainability Annual Plan organization objective in reduce residues generation, energetic consumption and water.- Take part in a project where the boiler condensates are reused in another equipment to reduce the consumption of water and carbon dioxide emissions leading to an economic saving and better energy use, therefore a positive environmental impact.- In-plant experience; plant process insight, flow measure in some pipes where is not automatized, equipment consumption review in accordance with the standard and a cogeneration plant start-up.
