Master Nanotech Alumi (Inpg Epfl Politecnico Di Torino)
Trainee - Molecular Medicine Sector
My assignment was to optimize the fabrication of patterned porous membranes, for a miniaturized flow over protein microarray.Microarrays enable the realization of accurate and compact immunoassays. In vitro medical diagnostic can therefore be widened to new applications, from regular tests in the food industry, to self-management of treatments for patients, to bacteriological detection in warfare.
Trainee - Biosensor Team
I joined the academic group of Prof. Fauchet, working on the new generation of a biosensor, able to sense different molecules or solvents flowing through a Macroporous Silicon membrane, by collecting in real-time its capacitance. This technology can serve to several applications in medicine, food and chemical industry, defence and environment.
