I have been a programmer for a long time. Over the years, I have been lucky to work on some meaningful and impactful projects - telephony switches that enable a telephone in every home, optical multiplexing that forms the backbone of Internet networks, command-and-control applications for army battlefield simulations, LTE to enable high-speed data in cell phones, cloud technologies and cross-platform development for now and the future.I've also been lucky to work in some of the finest and well-known companies - US Geological Survey, Bellcore, Bell Labs, AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Motorola, CSC, and Microsoft. I've worn many hats in my career, with positions ranging from developer, tester, sys admin, team lead, and architect. I've lived in the East Coast, the West Coast, and even China for a few years. Traveling is my hobby.
