Worked with ATA team, facilitating conferences, events and designing certifications programs around Selenium.

As a project manager for team OpKey- https://www.opkey.com/, my role was to manage day to day project responsibilities. I acted as a Scrum Master for the product. I managed around 14 people across different functional teams. The teams I managed were of development, testing, support, technical writer, marketing. I worked directly with Pankaj Goel, CEO of the company and other stake holders.Beside OpKey I managed the IPR department of the organization, under which we applied for patents and trademark.I was also involved in the CMMi Appraisal process of the organization, and worked with internal team and people from KPMG.

As a team lead, I managed a team of testers for the client side projects. We worked with Hindustan Times, Makemytrip, Max Insurance, Max Health, and ComViva. My role was to manage testers and projects which required test automation using open source solutions for functional and non functional aspects. We worked on tools like Watir, Selenium, JMeter, AutoIT . We also used commercial tools like QTP, RPT, RFT, SOA to solve end customer problems. Our team also designed customised solutions to solve testing challenges when no other out of the box products were available.We worked using various programming languages, operating systems, database solutions and were tech agnostic as a team.

I joined Crestech Software, as an Individual contributor to the inhouse Center of Excellence team. My first project was working on inhouse product OPMON, which was a performance monitoring tool created using Perl. As a team we built solution on tools like SAHI using javascript, later we changed to Ruby and Watir and eventually Selenium. I was also involved in working with tools like Rational Robot, RPT, QTP for client side projects.

I was a Graduate Research Assistant with Dr Naren Ramakrishnan https://people.cs.vt.edu/naren/, as part of my PhD degree in Bioinformatics. I joined Virginia Tech, and consistently held grades of 4.5 through one year of studies. My area of research involved using Data Mining techniques and tools to investigate large biological genome datasets. Due to personal reasons, I had to leave the studies and come back to India. The dream remains, and will be made into reality when time comes.
