Nodal Brazil is an independent entity that seeks investment opportunities in select projects in Brazil to follow EEX Group’s mission of building safe, successful, and sustainable commodity markets around the world. Nodal Brazil is part of the EEX Group which belongs to Deutsche Börse Group.

Nodal Exchange is the first commodities exchange dedicated to offering locational (nodal) futures contracts and related services to participants in the organized North American power markets. All transactions on Nodal Exchange are cleared through its clearing house, Nodal Clear. Nodal Exchange and Nodal Clear are part of the European Energy Exchange Group (EEX).• Managed full accounting cycle, including AP, AR, revenue, intercompany, fixed assets, internally developed software, tax, consolidation of subsidiaries, reporting to parent company in Germany.• Supervised month-end and year-end close tasks including reconciliation and variance analysis.• Prepared monthly, quarterly and yearly consolidated financial statements, in accordance to US GAAP.• Managed yearly external audit by KPMG, regulatory filings (CFTC) and tax preparation.• Managed Nodal Clear’s daily treasury operations in accordance with market regulations and daily investment of excess cash, estimating for 2018 an increase of more than $5MM in revenue.• Managed payroll, expense reimbursements, benefits ensuring compliance to laws.• Implemented new accounting (Intacct) and expense reimbursement system; managed IT development of interface between back-office system and Intacct.• Developed budget and forecasts. Reduced closing time from 3 weeks to 5 days.• Assisted Controller in development and implementation of controls and processes to streamline all accounting procedures through utilization of appropriate systems software.• Implemented bank reconciliation software resulting in reduction in discrepancies from $100k to $0.• Assisted Controller and COO with preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements.• Created and automated various ad hoc management reports utilizing Crystal Report software.
