Hard working, enthusiastic operator with a passion for social media and community management. I have over seven years of personal experience moderating, managing, and marketing on various social media platforms for various things, ranging from photography to video games. I have nearly four years of professional experience as one of the many faces behind Walmart's social media presence, ensuring consistency and brand presence. In both my personal and professional roles I have striven to build communities that thrive positively and withstand the test of time, however it changes things. Growing up in the Midwest I have come to value the process of building something great. Being able to create an online space that allows people to freely be themselves is at the core of what I do. Social media is an ever changing, challenging tool that when done together, can become a stable, safe space for so many. I believe in the importance of working with the community to build a community and love the discussions this creates. There is nothing better than seeing reflections of your own work in the community or game you've poured yourself into.I pride myself on being able to adapt, grow, and learn in any environment and look forward to any opportunities to continue to do so. I hope to return to community management in a professional capacity in order to help create a better space than we had yesterday. Gaming is important to me, and so are the communities holding them up.
