For the last 20 years, I have been dedicated to building healthy and sustainable food systems, enabling organizations on their sustainability journey, creating and building purpose-led brands and programs for multinational companies as well as startups. In 2020, I co-founded Future Fit Foods to create a new generation of plant-based nutrient-dense convenient foods that prioritize the wellbeing of people and planet. In 2021, we launched a line of freeze-dried, nutrient-packed soups sold across the USA which generated important learnings and led to the launch of Leaping Legumes, a line of delicious, nutritious, and sustainable chickpea snacks available in Colorado. Some of my career achievements include:- Spearheaded the first European Sustainable Agriculture program Kellogg’s Origins™ and helped champion its expansion to benefit 300K farmers. - Built Special K brand equity and social impact by spearheading strategic partnerships with UN Foundation’s Girl Up and with Gucci’s Chime for Change, benefitting 525K women with training and financing. - Positioned MorningStar Farms as a leader in plant-based eating and scaled up climate adaptation projects including a women cocoa initiative with Cargill and ASDA reaching 70K farmers.Leadership roles and recognitions include: - Recognized as a Global Sustainability Woman Leader in Forbes in 2018- Board Member for Naturally Boulder- Mentor at the Unreasonable Group for Impact Entrepreneurs - External Advisory Board Member at the Aspen’s Institute First Movers Program- Adjunct Assistant Professor for the University of Southern California' Sustainable Management Masters Program- Tutor for the Sustainability Leadership Executive Program at the University of Cambridge's Institute for Sustainability
