As a programme management intern at the Strategic Planning and Inter-Agency Affairs Unit, I performed several tasks, including: - Supported drafting and editing UNODC's Annual Results-Based Progress Report. - Consolidated UNODC contributions to Secretary-General reports and other system-wide requests for information.- Wrote human impact stories for UNODC's website, prepared a content and design update for the UNODC and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development webpage, and drafted an upcoming UNODC publication on youth and the SDGs. - Supported the organization of the Youth Empowerment Accelerator (YEA!) Framework launch event. - Facilitated a breakout room during the SDG 11 Global Youth Consultation in the lead-up to the ECOSOC Youth Forum.

Youth for TPNW is an independent, youth-led, global movement calling for a world free from nuclear weapons. A space for young campaigners, researchers, creatives, and students to support the implementation of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) and campaign around nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation.Among our main achievements in 2022, we planned and organized the Youth MSP for the first Meeting of State Parties of the TPNW, which took place in June at the United Nations Office in Vienna. More than 130 young people from around the globe participated online and in person. The event program included keynote speakers, discussions, workshops, and a panel on the future of youth engagement with the TPNW, where I had the opportunity to speak. Within a project to improve functional areas in the European Union, I performed the following tasks: - Identified best practices in metropolitan cooperation mechanisms by analyzing five Latin American countries' metropolitan legal, finance, and governance frameworks.- Distilled and summarized large amounts of information from various Spanish, Portuguese, and English sources and prepared two documents on metropolitan governance in Colombia and Brazil.

Collaborated with the management team during the pre-opening phase, conducted training for the Food & Beverage (F&B) team, supervised events and acted as a liaison between departments, oversaw the hotel’s operation as Manager on Duty, and ensured guest satisfaction as Guest Experience Champion.- Designed and conducted a six-week training program for a team of 19 people in the Food and Beverage Department (F&B) on standards, brand orientation, problem management, and hospitality.- Acted as a liaison between clients, the Sales, and the F&B Departments. Coordinated previous tasks and supervised events to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with the brand’s standards and procedures.- Initiated, wrote, and edited an operational manual for the F&B team during the COVID-19 pandemic, setting out new brand standards and best practice guidelines in line with local regulations. - Managed hotel activities on a weekly basis. Oversaw the performance of 85 staff members, responded to guest needs, handled complaints, and resolved operational issues.- Monitored guest satisfaction surveys and made recommendations to the management team to improve the team’s hospitality skills.- Promoted channels of communication between departments to establish a collaborative and guest-satisfaction-oriented ambiance.

- Facilitated training designed by the Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Security for 30 people between 18 and 24 years of age from disadvantaged neighborhoods in the city of Córdoba on social, labor, and occupational rights, effective communication, and digital skills to enhance their employment opportunities.
