The Youth Experiential Learning Simulation (YExLS) is an attempt to help bridge the gap between the systems children are in and the youth themselves. They work under the company Terre des hommes, of which I was a summer outreach and communications intern. I was a facilitator and organizer of this simulation in which there was participation and feedback of judges, social workers, teachers, probation officers, and more. My work within YExLS helped simulation participants get a better understanding of what it is like to be youth navigating public systems like while also pursuing their own dreams, despite their trauma. The project was done in Wales at Cardiff University, Accenture in Dublin, Ireland, Backer&McKenzie in London, and at the World Justice Forum in the Hague, the Netherlands.

Managed 200+ volunteers and translated 120 chapters into Spanish to publish online. Produced a promotional video and worked in collaboration with Disney and Starbucks. Conducted a youth justice simulation for federal and state judges called Walk A Mile In Their Shoes.
