Provide guidance and direction to 12 field claim operations in conjunction with senior vice presidents. Additional duties include: interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, supervising, motivating, and developing two direct managers and quality manager; overseeing systems development and enhancements, claim office support, cost benefit analysis, quality assurance, training, documentation, adherence to company policies and procedures, field office utilization; interacting with partnering companies/director heads to identify processes and implement standardization; planning and administering budget for all projects; assessing project time frames; participating in meetings to determine future growth; conducting meetings to discuss operational issues at field offices, new upcoming projects and merger updates; analyzing and resolving field issues; compiling claims reports (system generated and ad hoc) and monthly and weekly Steering Committee reports; preparing quarterly reviews.

Oversaw staff of thirty eight associates (regulation 64 and 68, general liability auto bodily injury, property and support staff). Duties included: interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, supervising, and developing employees; overseeing unit managers, claims handling (incoming, closings, settlements), litigation tracking, agency visitations, and committee files; conducting quality control reviews; authorizing settlement dollars and reserve increases; visiting key accounts to discuss claim handling practices; monitoring and decreasing allocated/unallocated expenses; analyzing and preparing presentations consisting of severity analysis, expenses and quarterly claims results to region, branch manager and claims staff.
