My background is in IT, primarily but not exclusively, within the Financial Services industry. I have varied and valuable hands on experience in improving and transforming various organisations' transition and project processes and activities, in both a consultancy and contractual capacity. In my first period at the CFS, I experienced development, service management, and was instrumental in helping bring together the banking and insurance IT depts as the 2 organisations merged.At Remarc, I was primarily involved in the delivery of ITIL V2 courses at both Foundation and Management level, as well as producing some bespoke courses to match clients' requirements.At Barclays, I was involved in Service Readiness, where the focus was on ensuring the smooth transition of developments from project into live, ensuring that the service model was created, and signed off, including all the ITIL disciplines, and that all component teams were ready and able to support the development in live, either in or out of the UK..I am looking to progress my career within the contract market, having enjoyed my time at Tesco Bank in what is a dynamic and fast-paced environment in an organisation attempting to mature rapidly into a fully-fledged financial services company.My move to the CFS in a contracting role affords me the opportunity to experience service design in a formal capacity, and also to enhance my experience in organisational transformation, as the company is currently undertaking one of the biggest merger programmes in the industry.Specialties: Organisational transformation.
