CurrentAt Bright Path Futures, I have been actively involved in designing and implementing digital resources to support asylum seekers and refugees, particularly in enhancing their English language proficiency and easing cultural integration. My contributions include:Python Development: Developed a multi-file subtitling system that significantly optimized the process of captioning educational YouTube videos, making them more accessible to non-English speakers.Video Editing: Edited and refined educational videos, ensuring they were clear, engaging, and aligned with the charity's ESOL objectives.WordPress and WooCommerce Development: Created and managed the Bright Path Futures website, integrating WooCommerce to enhance functionality with an online shop, improving the user experience for both learners and volunteers.Systems and Processes Leadership: Leading the development of systems and processes to efficiently distribute digital resources, ensuring they reached the people who needed them most, improving accessibility and impact.These efforts have contributed to Bright Path Futures’ mission of providing resources in over 12 languages, empowering asylum seekers to build confidence, integrate into their communities, and thrive in their new environments.
