Providing interim financial consultancy, specifically focussing on M&A and fractional leadership (financial strategy, financial analysis, cost optimisation, etc).

Supported the founders in setting up the finance function from the ground up, including processes and reporting.

- All aspects of Financial Due Diligence analysis, with experience across a number of sectors (Technology, Media and Telecoms, Industrial Products & Services, Healthcare and Retail, Consumer & Leisure).- I have worked on both buy side and sell side engagements, as well as on refinancing projects.- My experience includes producing entire reports, including analysis, on small privately-owned businesses to reporting on significantly larger transactions in key areas, such as Quality of Earnings, normalised Working Capital, Net Debt and other more focussed pieces of trading analysis, as well as participating in bidder meetings. - I have had exposure to working on potential IPOs (long form and working capital reports).- Experience of internal and external stakeholder management at all levels (meetings with CEOs, CFOs, FDs, etc.), as well as taking ownership of project management.- Business development activities include assisting with proposals and performing targeted research on industries/businesses.- More recently I have started to broaden and develop my use of advanced analytics tools, such as Power BI & Alteryx, to produce more powerful and insightful analysis to include in our reports.

Collected and analysed data for some economic reports on the West Midlands as a whole and certain parts of the West Midlands as well. I contributed to the written content of the reports and learnt a vast amount about data analysis and research as well as functioning in an organised team. I have gained more experience with working to tight deadlines and with constant communication with team leaders and members of local councils.

A temporary summer position at a newly opened gym. I was employed to be part of the promotional team. My duties included showing potential members around the gym and answering any questions. I also kept a good rapport with members who had already signed up and gave them assistance when required. This improved my customer service and communication skills. During the first two weeks we were exceptionally busy, so I became better at working under pressure and learned a lot in a very short space of time.

A casual job, working if and when required, whilst I was in college. It involved working behind a bar and/or waiting. Shifts were usually on football match days and there were other events such as parties and dinners which were sometimes available. For every shift I was a member of a team, usually 3 or 4 members and a team leader, so I have experienced how to function well in a team and to take responsibility when necessary. During this job I learned how to sensibly deal with difficult customers.

A temporary summer post, I was employed to work on checkouts and undertake any other tasks when required. This developed my confidence and communication skills with people as I was regularly meeting new customers. It also gave me my first experience of being a member of a busy team and I provided a quality service to customers. I had to several new things in a short period of time.
