Managed a team of resourcers and consultants in a perm sales division. Dealt with profit and loss for the branch as well as setting targets and objectives for my staff. Weekly and monthly appraisals. Meeting targets and keeping within budgets.

Duties included:Interviewing candidates face to face & over the telephone and identifying suitable vacanciesLiaising with clients to set up interviewsAssisting and coaching candidates in preparation for their interviews.Taking detailed feedback from candidates and clients.I was targeted to achieve at least 4 placements per month generating £10-15k of business.

Duties included:Cold calling clients to win new business;Taking a detailed job specification, i.e. job description, person brief, decision-making process and confirming our terms of business;Motivating my Consultants to match their candidates with my vacancies and ensuring my clients were contacted within 48 hours;Maintaining contact with my clients at all times to maximise potential business opportunities;Preparing advertisements for local papers and internet sites.My targets were to get 10 new vacancies on per week, 70% of my jobs actively worked on as well as getting 3 clients into our offices to interview.Because of my achievements as a Vacancy Controller in a short period of time, I was then given extra responsibilities to add to my day to day duties. These included:The role of Account Manager for some of the major key accounts;Client visits to win new business;Service visits to existing clients;Preparing proposals for national agreements and getting service level agreements signed;Coordinating client interviews on our premises and taking detailed feedback from both client and candidate;Managing the Reading sales branch whilst the Branch Manager was on vacation, including closing business when needed.

Craftmatic are a distributor and manufacturer of adjustable beds and sell directly to the public. My job consisted of 100% new business calls with a view to booking appointments for representatives to visit their homes to demonstrate the adjustable beds. I consistently over-achieved my targets and, as a result, I was promoted to Sales Trainer and Supervisor. This included script-writing, training during the day and the general running of the telesales team of 10 people during the evening shift.
