    Create and manage department budgets, process AP claims, quietus processing, and payroll. Work closely with county auditor's office and grants manager in processing documentation of federal, state and local grants, to include grant agreements, grant budgets, including requesting necessary approval through county council for appropriationa and transfer of funds. Assist with LEPC projects, including provide assistance to county industries to meet the requirements of the Superfund Amendment and Reauthorization Act (SARA) Title III Program for hazardous chemical reporting (Tier II reporting). HSEEP exercise planning and design, LEPC membership and community outreach projects and LEPC Plan and bylaw management.Recruiting, interviewing and hiring staff, including onboarding and offboarding. Work with HR and Payroll to ensure all necessary paperwork is submitted for paid staff and volunteers. Update and submit job descriptions for review.
