Design Contemporary and Missy sweater styles for Curio label as well as Private Label clients. Research color and sweater style trends to develop a line that is cohesive and current to the company and customer. Utilize programs including Primavision, Illustrator and Photoshop and Microsoft Excel, Word, etc. Owning a style from beginning stages of research and development to conducting final fittings. Work closely with Design Director, Production and Merchandizing/Sales throughout the process. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to: research and development of yarns, stitches and trims; creating tech packs and artwork layouts; creating color boards, mood boards and line lists; sketching development CADs and CAD updates; taking measurements and specs; fitting samples on model; requesting lab dips and reviewing lab dips.

Help to develop the sweaters category in both Women's and Kids and Baby, as well as the Men's collection, to fit the brand's look and style. Working in PLM to create techpacks and line lists. Sketching flats in Illustrator and Photoshop.Researching latest sweater and knitwear trends, including, quality, gauges, silhouettes, colors and graphics. Assisting with: fittings, line plans, color ways and lab dips; weekly meetings with production; communication with vendors.

Assisted with sourcing materials such as trims and fabrics, working with vendors, assisting in the fitting rooms and other hands on sewing/studio tasks

Assisted the effort to turn the office paperless, documenting records of past and current employees, participated on phone conferences with system developers to better the HR computer programs
