Reporting directly to the Chairman and CEO, I was a key advisor to the leadership team and responsible for the design and delivery of Sony Music’s talent plan for the UK.

MediaCom handles the media planning and buying for some of the country’s smartest advertisers, such as Sky, Proctor and Gamble and GlaxoSmithKline. Supported by keen consumer insight, analysis and experience, MediaCom is part of the largest media buying network in the world, working across all traditional, new and emerging media. Everything from TV to Digital, Print to Content, Out of Home to Mobile, Sponsorship to Search.My role was to work with the Executive Leadership Team and to translate the strategic vision into a concise and focused people plan to address the business needs leading to overall improved business performance. I was supported by a team of 8 people based in London.

An entrepreneurial and expanding global Company headquartered in the US, my role was a senior leadership position with significant visibility. As a member of the senior leadership team based in London, I provided strategic direction to the business and set up the HR function in London who are responsible for the HR service delivery for our operations in London, Oxford, France, Italy, Germany and Spain.

As a member of the EMEA board, I provided strategic direction, logistical and operational support and financial accountability across all markets within the EMEA region. I was accountable for the development, leadership and execution of a regional talent strategy which was aligned to the broader organisational business goals and managed a team of 8 based in London.

Working in partnership with the Senior Management team across multiple business areas within ITV Studios, ITV Global Entertainment Ltd and ITV Consumer, my role required an approach that maintained an appropriate balance between strategic and 'hands on' issues together with excellent analytical and communication ability. I was responsible for leading a team of 13 HR professionals in activities in the UK, US and Europe to comply with corporate directives and local legal requirements.

MTV is part of the Viacom Group, a global corporation with diverse and complex businesses. I managed a team of 6 HR professionals and was successful in the completion of projects in the areas of Diveristy, Learning and Development, Organisational Development and Change, Resourcing and Compensation and Benefits.

Responsible for delivering a completely new HR service to Grey London, a top 10 global advertising agency.

Reporting to the HR Director and assisting in the set up of a completely new HR service for AOL. This was at the time of AOL's significant growth and expansion and the acquisition of Compuserve, a technology company in Reading and its transfer to the AOL offices in London.

Bertelsmann Music Group (BMG) was a division of Bertelsmann before its completion of sale of the majority of its assets to Sony. It was established in 1987 to combine the music label activities of Bertelsmann (RCA Records, Arista, Deconstruction, BMG Records) and BMG Music Publishing. Reporting to the HR Director, my role was to assist in the provision of a generalist HR service to all employees at all levels within BMG.

Responsible for providing a full HR service to The Queen's Household and associated Royal residences.
