I spent 20 years in Northern California working on growing food in people's gardens, educating in the nonprofit world of sustainability, and serving through elected office. In 2013 I returned to Minnesota to reinvigorate my childhood farm and commit my skills and knowledge to the Driftless region in whatever way I can be impactful. I am well versed in bringing information, inspiration, and resources to people who will utilize it to make their lives, homes, community, and the world a better place for us all. I have served as Executive Director for 3 nonprofit organizations, raised over a $1,000,000 for various nonprofits, organized events large and small, been the Mayor of a town, and a speaker for national conferences. Specialties: community development, education, regenerative agriculture, fundraising, grants management, policy, permaculture, local government, volunteer management, nonprofit structure, local currency, and sustainable community.
