After a career in banking and mortgage underwriting, serving the Durham community as a volunteer and as a County Commissioner, I became Co-owner of DeWhit Facilities Services. I remain active on the government level as the Chairman of Durham Citizens Capital Improvement Panel (CCIP), serving on Durham's Homeless Services Advisory Committee (HSAC) and as Chair of the Durham County Memorial Stadium Authority. I also serve on the Board of Directors for Antioch Builds Community, Twice a month I volunteer at Christian Assembly's Emergency Food Pantry.
