Hired as Business Services Manager to establish Business Services Division for Houston area Federal Credit Union with an emphasis on Commercial Lending. Organized Credit Files and established electronic imaging of credit room process. Established lending limits, policy and procedures that were adopted by the Board of Directors. Implemented and oversaw Best Practices for member marketing, calling process, credit applications, underwriting, processing, approval, booking, etc. to represent the full life cycle of a Commercial member. In addition, worked with other CU partners to establish complimentary product offering for Business Service needs fulfillment. Called on members, reviewed and approved loan and business credit card applications. Represented CU during May 2014 NCUA Audit of Loan Portfolio resulting in a Satisfactory Audit with no material findings. Established Division reporting procedures for Executive Management and Board of Directors which included syndicated loans; whereby, PrimeWay was the Lead participant with other local Credit Union participation. Recruited VP|Business Services Manager with the qualifications and skills to run the established Division at the conclusion of my assignment with CU.

Hired to build a Small Business Lending team for newly merged Wells Fargo and First Interstate Banks. Also selected in 1998 to assist in building a SBA Division for newly merged Wells Fargo and Norwest Banks. Duties included hiring, establishing offices, leading teams within a 12 state and multi-city within those states SE Region territory of responsibility from as far west as New Mexico to the East Coast territory. Teams consistently ranked in top sales quartiles within SBA District Rankings for state goal attainment.Top Sales Awards multiple years for Business Banking production as well. Selected for Corp. team to assist in design/roll-out of process and procedures for an on-line decision making model for Business Banking corporate-wide; officed in San Jose, CA (6 months) during project development. Also, key leader in designing/building Loan Credit Underwriting/Processing HUB in San Antonio.
