Behavioral Health Senior Subject Matter Expert And Content Strategist
CurrentAfter a short hiatus and move back to Texas, I re-joined TIAG initially part-time to work on a new project building mobile apps and training for First Responders around resilience and mental wellness. Subsequent to our work at the National Center for Telehealth and Technology, TIAG wanted to apply that same technology and behavioral health expertise to the First Responder community. The mResilience project was the result. I wear various hats for "mRes" as part of providing behavioral health oversight on the project. I translate behavioral health concepts into project requirements. Together with colleagues, I research, write and manage content for the mRes mobile application. I created a companion training program and train First Responders on overall resilience-building strategies with the app. I co-led a pilot study of the training and mobile app, along with helping out with social media marketing of the mResilience program. In addition to mResilience, I am fortunate to work on a variety of other projects at TIAG. I provided clinical expertise and wrote content for a traumatic brain injury mobile app for the Veteran community, MaxImpact. I provide content management and consultation for the ArmyFit website through the Army Resilience Directorate (ARD) and coordinate outreach efforts for several websites at the Consortium for Health and Military Performance (CHAMP).
