In this role, I manage the assessment, purchase, adoption and distribution of all educational resources for 51,000 students across 87 public schools. I collaborate across the ranks of educational professionals, from first-year teachers through to the superintendent of the school system, to identify more and better ways to serve the 6,000+ teachers who rely on resources from my department. This diverse role enables me to get my hands dirty as I manage the day-to-day operations of a 50-person distribution warehouse, while continuing to develop bespoke professional development courses for education professionals.

I was drawn to this role because of my love of technology, and was in the driver’s seat as schools across the country transitioned from “mostly books” to “mostly digital”. In this role, I collaborated with and supported more than 300 teachers over 15 years by building a best-in-class resource hub designed alongside classroom teachers to identify and address key resource and development needs to drive classroom effectiveness.

As a military spouse, I taught at 5 high-schools across the U.S. in just ten years. Loving anything business and technology related, I taught marketing, business, leadership, computer skills and accounting, all the while laying the foundations for the tailored, student-centered teaching methodology I still use today.
