The Witness to Witness (W2W) Program serves those who are in high stress jobs working with vulnerable clients who are themselves experiencing high levels of stress. Originally designed to assist those working with asylum seekers, detainees, migrants, climate refugees and immigrants at the border, we have expanded to serve a range of providers in many parts of the country who work with vulnerable populations. Those we serve may be suffering from stress, empathic stress, moral distress and/or moral injury.

CSUF’s Allied Health Academy (AHA), a Health Career Opportunity Program (HCOP), supports students toward an allied health career. The AHA provides services and resources at each step, through high school, community college, undergraduate, and graduate school.The North Orange County Allied and other Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP) aims to increase the pipeline of underrepresented Latinos, Pacific Islanders (including Native Hawaiian, Samoan and Chamorro) and Southeast Asians (particularly Vietnamese, Cambodian, Hmong and Lao), and other underserved, first generation college students into the professions of communicative disorders, counseling, occupational therapy, public health (including environmental health specialists, epidemiologists, health educators, and gerontologists), physical therapy, and social work. This multifaceted effort is specifically designed to increase retention and graduation of these diverse underserved students across the educational continuum, from high school and community college into four year college and graduate allied and other health profession programs.

The Evidence-based Synthesis Program (ESP) is helping VA fulfill its vision of functioning as a continuously "learning healthcare system" to improve veteran health and health care. ESP achieves this by providing timely, targeted, thorough, unbiased and innovative syntheses of the medical literature for Veteran Health Administration (VHA) to translate into evidence-based clinical practice and policy and quality improvement and practice-based future research initiatives at the national level. ESP reports helps VHA: - Implement effective services to improve patient outcomes and support VA clinical practice guidelines and performance measures- Develop clinical policies informed by evidence- Set the direction for future research to address gaps in clinical knowledge.
