I have been with the Lodi School District for 22 years. During this time I have received five Outstanding Impact Awards, the ABCD Award, Columbia County Asset Builder Award, along with many letters of recognition from students. I have also been presented with a diploma from the University of Iasi in Romania for my part in a symposium and the writing of a chapter about special education. I am well versed in, but not limited to the following: government and social issues, English 11 and 12, oral communications, US history, human geo, biology, and several electives, small animals, food sciences, horticulture, fish and aqua, and intro to business. I have strong leadership skills and good communications both written and verbal. I am organized, adaptable, honest and hardworking. I work closely with seniors to help them succeed in their current education and to help them to apply to post secondary schools, along with the writing of letters of recommendation and filling out scholarships. Over the years there have been many special education students (along with several regular ed students) that have received scholarships with my help. I also have a strong working relationship with all of the Special Education staff, teachers, educational assistant, and therapist. Working with so many different personalities I have learned to adapt and be flexible.
