Promote new dense real estate development in the City’s tax increment finance (TIF) districts.•Review proposals for new TIF district projects; develop and amend TIF district plans and budgets, provide staff support for boards of directors, and provide general planning support for potential new TIF districts. • Analyze projects and provide project recommendations to TIF boards and City Council. Conduct detailed financial analysis and review market analysis. Evaluate costs and benefits of proposed public financial participation in the projects. Negotiate development deals.•Draft legal documents including resolutions, ordinances, and development agreements as required.•Serve as a project coordinator for projects receiving TIF assistance: facilitate building inspection, Council, licensing, zoning, DWU, and other inter-departmental and inter-agency conversations. Ensure successful development.•Monitor the progress of public improvement districts (PIDs) including review of quarterly reports, attend PID board meetings, and review PID service plan updates.•Provide support for other special purpose districts such as municipal management districts•Compile, maintain, and report measures for department reporting, including Performance Measures, strategic plan measures, and action plan items.•Provide training, analytic, and technical support to other department members.
