I am a counselor educator and professional counselor who specializes in disability and nature-based interventions. I am invested in wellbeing for people experiencing disability and chronic conditions. In my clinical work, I provide services for individuals and groups experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and difficultlife transitions. I use eco counseling and adventure-base counseling interventions with an existential lens to facilitate connection to self, others, and the environments where we live, work, and play. My CRC background furthers my holistic approach to wellness; I attend to issues with career development, employment, or retirement. I honor the journey of the individual, whether they are a student or a client. I develop strong therapeutic rapport and egalitarian working relationships. I attend to intersectionality and create space to develop and improve self-advocacy skills. I practice from a trauma informed lens and am LGBTQIAA+ allied.
