CurrentSince 2023, I have served as Chair for The Climate Reality Project San Francisco Bay Area Chapter. Our local chapter is a blended group of trained Climate Reality Leaders, community activists, and concerned citizens banded together to take positive action on climate change and climate justice. With nearly 2,000 members from a wide variety of disciplines, cultures, races, and generations, we are the largest chapter in the world for The Climate Reality Project. Grounded in the Climate Reality Project mission of providing broad climate education, striving for climate justice, and mobilizing a grassroots network of advocates taking action, our members join us to make a personal commitment to take local climate action in order to advance meaningful progress toward a safe, thriving and sustainable future for the Bay Area and the world.Our mission is to educate about and achieve progress on climate action, climate justice and climate policy. We strive to lead the nation and the world in adopting bold and innovative solutions to address the climate crisis and be a strong advocate for climate justice.
